3 months agoSaw them on Instagram decided to give them a try. The 1st time oxtails were salty. 2nd try, soooo disappointed. Almost $30, thrown away. The food looked old, maybe a day or 2, it wasn't even luke warm. The cabbage was so soft it was almost mushy. The rice was absolutely bland. The main thing, the oxtails had no flavor and the gravy, was non existent. I was so upset. Never again. I wish I could give ZERO stars

4 months agoI got the jerk chicken and it was smoky, sweet and spicy. Bone came straight out. Delicious. Food was ready quickly. I thought the price was a few dollars too high at first, but then I got the plate and it was HEAVY. I tried to finish it all but couldn’t! I’ll be back when I’m over that way.

4 months agoUnfortunately today was my first and last time there. There was nothing Jamaican or any other type of Caribbean about these oxtails. It was more cabbage than rice! Gravy???? That’s a joke! I did request gravy on my rice but it was plain to see the lil clear broth on the NO flavored rice and peas! I can’t pinpoint the seasoning that was in the cabbage but they really don’t need to use it!!! The oxtails was tender but nooo thyme, no bay leaves, no scallions, nothing!!!! The rice and peas was bland. The service was good and that’s about it!!!! Unfortunately I was very unhappy after driving 20 mins over there and didn’t enjoy a penny of my $26.

5 months agoFood taste old i know they say food is better the next day but in this case NOT! . I went on Friday, that s the first open day so food must have been prepared a few day s earlier. if that s not the case then all I can say NEVER AGAIN. I made a 40$ donation to a black business, when I was trying to support and get meal. So sad!

6 months agoI ordered the oxtail. The gravy was thin and I only was given 4 pieces of oxtail for $26 including the tax. I didn't taste anything Jamaican about the plate. The cabbage was brown and had a strange taste to it. The plate was mostly cabbage by the way. Never again!

11 months agoI’m a frequent customer of Bono Caribbean. The authentic flavor of their food is amazing. I recently hired them for my annual family cookout. To say it was a BIG HIT is a very modest statement. They delivered professional service, great food and created an enjoyable atmosphere. Thank you guys!

a year agoFirst bit had me dancing in my kitchen. So so good! Got the jerked chicken and ox tails. And I must say, I’ve NEVER had such tender ox tails in my life! The portions are hugeee. Will definitely visit them again!

a year agoI went there 2 days in a row(25 minute drive). Food was excellent. Customer service was excellent. Nice sized portions. It's the best Caribbean food I've ever had.
